Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

Hi,
I have one simple question:

Does IH2 resize also additional images? There are options to upload small, medium and large images when adding additional images but it seams to me strange that it doesnt resize images itself...

Based on your settings, I believe it can and will produce the multi-sized versions of your uploaded images.

Yes it works.. I tested it on one picture and it didnt work but with others it works... strange:)

I think I've diligently read through the forum and I'm stumped on how to solve my problem, though it appears similar to others.

I have Image Handler 2.0 installed over a Zen Cart 1.3.0.1 install.

My needs are fairly simple: I don't need IH's automatic resizing features through ImageMagick or GD, and I don't need the hover effect.

What I *do* need is to be able to upload .gif images for the small and medium views of the product, but for the large image of the product, have a .jpg graphic file. And I like the way ImageHandler's interface works for the clients.

(And, I really need to have additional images/views of the product display on the product info page but that's standard ZC feature—I will work on tweaking it all so it can display both gifs and jpegs of different sizes when I come to that bridge).

But here's the problem. Like a few of the posters have reported, all seems to be working on the admin side, but I don't get a correct path to the "large" image (the .jpg). It seems to load the small image again in the popup window.

I know uploading is working fine and the files are going to the right places through the IH interface, because I deleted the pictures before getting started to test it. They upload to the correct directories (images/subfolder, images/medium/subfolder, and images/large/subfolder). I've checked the filenames for spelling/naming convention mistakes. In the basename field, I've given the basename without a file extension (say, image), and named the uploaded files image_MED.gif and image_LRG.gif

In the Admin > Config > Images area, I've got:

- IH resize off (since I'm not resizing any images)
- IH small image filetype = GIF
- IH medium image filetype = GIF
- IH large image filetype = JPG
- watermarking, hotzone and zoom set to "no" for all fields

Use proportional sizing for images = 1 (on)
(my pics are 180x180, 180x180 and 400x400)

Other obvious snags are taken care of; I've set the permissions of images folders and bmz_cache to 777 as well.

I just don't understand why it wont read the path for the large image. Am I setting too many parameters?

Oh yes... and Ive inhereted someone else's customized template as well, which was "heavily" edited...

I'm running ZC 1.3.0.1 and IH 2.0. Everything installed and worked great when I first tested it. Now when I go to add an image, it uploads fine and I get an "image successfully saved" message at the top of the page, but at the bottom it says:

Error!

Unable to determine the page link!

Function used:

zen_href_link('', '', 'NONSSL')

and the image doesn't show up on the IH page, or the product info page. This only happens when adding images to some products, not all.

The only thing I have tried is enabling SSL (which I needed to do anyway). I'm feeling pretty clueless about this one, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi all,
I have a problem with IE. I installed IH . I had also installed Scrolling Featured Products. Firefox running well, but IE has problem by scrolling the pictures. Only text are scrolling and pictures are out of the box and they are not scrolling. I removed IH from databes( admin) and the the problem is solved. That means: IH has a confilict with srolling images by me . I need help. Thanks in advance.

Sorry, i have to ask this stupid Q again... i searched and read through the board but just could not find the link i remember have seen before regarding a problem with Imagehandler 2: being not visible/working a single product page.

On the productlisting/categorie page it shows fine.
On the individual product page it does not and the image diplayed there can only be clicked to get a larger version or clicked beneath the text: click to enlarge...

anyone has the link or info?

I've installed IH2 succesfully and can access the IH2 panel in admin, but somehting is not working right.

WHen I add a new image, everything sems to work fine but the image never actually gets resized. When I view the product in the store, the image is simply shrunk down using the IMG width and height. It uses the same large image for each instance.

The image icons for the product show up fine in the IH2 admin panel and are resized properly, but it never seems to work in the actual storefront.

I have GD 2.0.28 enabled and have used it successfullly elsewhere. Does anyone have any idea what might be going on?

I also do not see the "I" icon next to my products when I'm in the Categories/Products panel.
