I am getting the message that I need to back up my admin activity log...how do I go about this? You're talking to a novice here! Be gentle.

If you're not concerned that anybody has been doing bad things in your admin area, you may safely purge it: Admin->Tools->Store Manager->and click the Reset button beside the Admin Activity Log option
