Admin Profiles (for v1.3.x only!) Support Thread

Pedant that I am, I would say that it's not incompatible.

However, there is an Admin Profiles v1.0.5 awaiting approval in the Zen Cart downloads section that makes it fully compatible with Zen Cart 1.3.5.

Simplified recommended upgrade procedure from Admin Profiles 1.0.3+ to 1.0.5 for Zen Cart 1.3.5 is

1. After upgrading to Zen Cart 1.3.5, copy the Admin directory from the new v1.0.5 "extras - patched files for ZC1.3.5" folder into the root directory for your store.
2. There isn't a step 2. Step 1 was all it took.

Please note that there is no additional functionality in this release, though the installation instructions have been amended to reflect the user feedback from earlier in this thread.

Should I be getting this? I did a fresh install of 1.3.5, then ran the install_admin_profiles.sql by copying and pasting into the tools>admin>install SQL patches.

Newbie here. Using Zen 1.3.5 and latest Admin version. Followed instructions, although not sure about the sql file so I imported it with phpMyAdmin. Now I go to the admin page and get this message:

1146 Table 'totaltra_zc1.zen_admin_menu_headers' doesn't exist
in:
[select id from zen_admin_menu_headers where header = 'Configuration']

And can't do much.

This looks to me as though you have used a prefix of zen_ at the beginning of your tables (Zen Cart offers this as part of the installation process), but have not edited the Admin Profiles installation SQL file to include zen_ at the beginning of the tables that it creates.

The easiest way to avoid this problem is to re-install the patch using the Admin > Tools > Install SQL Patch facility as it will automatically put the table prefix in for you.

i installed fresh admin package on 1.3.5 zen cart.
does know somebody where i have to put user_tracking_tools_dhtml.php file, I add the patch to sql, and I putted this file in admin/includes/boxes/extraboxes, and I see it in admi/tools in the same writng, I think it should be defined in english.php too.
I did not do more until a expert give me the point.

It goes in your admin/includes/boxes/extra_boxes folder.

It allows you to have the Admin Profiles add-on and the User Tracking add-on installed and working on the same system.
