Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

I just installed IH2 into a brand new Zen_Cart installation. I had ceated a few products pages that worked fine. I needed to add more than 1 picture to some items so I went with IH2.

Once I did this I lost the picture on the items page. When I click on the catogory the pictures show up, but when I click on a specific item the picture is not there anymore. Also if I click 'Vie Larger Image' it does not show the picture just a box this the the item name in it.

I have been looking through this thread but as it is quite large I though I would ask and see if anyone can help while I still am searching.

I downloaded the latest version of Image Handler and I am still getting a javascript error when I enable small image zoom.

Could you please post the exact lines where the errors are, so that I can take a look at it? If you're using IE6, there should be a small alert box in the bottom left corner.. just double click it and copy/paste the message it gives you

I just installed the new patch/oct1,...

The image hover becomes a wild flicker effect.

Anyone else see that? I removed the patch and it was fine

Try re-uploading the image. I had this happen to me a few times and re-uploading it did the trick. Strange that it didn't do it to all my products, just 2-3

What browser are you using? Shows up fine for me in IE6/7 and FF1.5. If you can please PM me a link so I can take a quick look at it

Try re-uploading the image. I had this happen to me a few times and re-uploading it did the trick. Strange that it didn't do it to all my products, just 2-3

i had a similar experience and discovered that IH wasn't updating permissions properly. I didn't fix the code (clueless about much of this, but it may be your server options at fault too) just recursively set the images directory permissons to 777 again

getyourgameshere - I have tried to upload the images of a few products a couple of times and no different. I also tried to add new products and images and the same happens. When I put the cursor over the area were the picture should be it reports a link to images/medium/image_MED.jpg but there is nothing there in the directory. Also if I look at the properties from the picture location it says that it is not cached !!

I also went back and checked all the image directories and bmz_cache directories are set to 777.


Been reading alot but nothing yet.

Just check that file again - is each directory (Images and medium) and the file itself image_MED.jpeg have read permissions?

I just re-enabled zoom and the error seems to be gone.

However, I did noticed a different anomaly.

On the last row of products of any page, whenever I mouseover the bottom half of the images, the zoomed image displays at the top of the page isntead of near my cursor.
