I'm having a problem with the layout display in IE. Looks fine in Firefox, but I cannot find the error in IE.

Here's the snippet from the header.php

Here's the screenshot of the problem area. There is some white area on the right and the bottom of the first box on the right column is off.

Did you set your columns and sideboxes to 175px wide?

Admin -> Configuration -> Layout Settings.
*checks* Yes, they are all set to 175px.

Is there a different place I should check as well?


OK, this isn't getting better.. now IE is displaying the categories on my main page 1 per row. Firefox is showing them in 3 per row.

I updated the CSS file for the new version. Are there any other updated files and/or CSS changed that would change that?

Please tell me you didn't mix the css of 1 version with the other.

..uhhhhhh.... What if I told you I made a backup copy of the old CSS before I did that??? LOL.

First of all, Thank You so much Ideasgirl for sharing this beautiful template!

I just have a short question. I want to change the background of the center of the page to be grey, too so that the whole background of the webpage looks the same color and not grey outside but in the middle white background. If there is an easy fix for that, it would be nice.

Sure, on your css around line 194 you have:

#mainWrapper {
     background-color: #ffffff;
     text-align: left;
     width: 750px;
     vertical-align: top;
     }

just change the color to #D4D4D4

you might also want to change line 334:

#navBreadCrumb {
     background-color: #FFFFFF;
     }

Thank a lot. that was exactly what i was looking for.
However, i think i also have to change the font color then because it was very hard to read, so i reversed it again. i will have to learn about css first though i guess ;-)

Is there a way to put separators or bullets or lines between the categories that show up in the big box under the logo?

Where do I change the font color in the box that has the words New Products for October in the center section of the page.

You can try the bettercategories module; you can use icons, images, and different color tones to create buttons.

In your css go to your centerBoxHeading settings, add the color code you want in that section:
