Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

I just installed IH2 into a brand new Zen_Cart installation. I had ceated a few products pages that worked fine. I needed to add more than 1 picture to some items so I went with IH2.

is your site on shared hosting? will you post your server info relating to GD?

Just check that file again - is each directory (Images and medium) and the file itself image_MED.jpeg have read permissions?

/public_html/images = 777
/public_html/images/medium = 777

but there is no file in here with the _MED.jpg tag.

/public/bmz_cache = 777

permissions seem to be OK, not sure what to look at next.

Well I have been looking into each file that I uploaded when I installed IH2. I have found one that gets me the picture back on the product page.

it is: includes/modules/main_product_image.php

I noticed that the old file has lines to look for the other size images that are not in the new file. I am trying to figure out the variables work to build the path at this point.

Any help will be appreciated.

I also still do not have alarger image come up when I click on it. But that will be next...one step at a time

After I uncommented the echo lines to see the path names it is looking in

images/medium/<Filename>

but IH does not seem to be creating these resizes. As I posted before all directories are 777.

Please any help is appretiated

I just re-enabled zoom and the error seems to be gone.

However, I did noticed a different anomaly.

On the last row of products of any page, whenever I mouseover the bottom half of the images, the zoomed image displays at the top of the page isntead of near my cursor.

Weird. Could you please check to make sure the jscript_imagehover.js file didn't get corrupted during the upload? Its located in includes/templates/template_default/jscript .. shouldbe 5.92kb. If you could please PM me a URL I'd be able to look into it a bit more in depth

Well since I could not figure it out and was not getting anywhere I went ahead and deleted Zen-Cart and IH2. Then started all over from scratch. Installed Zen-Cart then IH2 before building my custom template and adding products.

It appears to be working fine now.

When i was having trouble with output (blank confirmation screen) I eventually solved it by moving all custom code out of template_default and into my custom template. Then I replaced the entire template_defualt directory with a clean copy. It worked so well I now recite this mantra before i add a new module:
"No mods to template_default"

I would like to have my additional image shown next to the primary image or in the same neighborhood. I'm setting-up a greeting card site so I would like to have the front (primary image) and inside (secondary image) side-by-side. Right now the secondary image is all the way on the bottom of the product listing while the primary is on the top.

I've looked eveywhere (I think) and can't come up with a solution.

Any ideas?

I am not sure how to due this with IH2 but I you place links in the text body that are to pictures and they should show. This is not a pretty way to due it but it might solve your problem... But I am sure there has got to be a better way to do it then that.

maybe i missed it, as there are so many posts....

when ih2 IS installed i do NOT have any addtional images, as soon as i remove ih2 from the database.. i HAVE addtional images...

anyone else having this issue?

i have the latest ih2 and the latest zencart w/ all updates
