I'm having problems with my tabs. My first problem is nothing happens when I click on the tabs. I noticed when I hover over the tab it says" javascript:void(0). Would this have something to do with it?

Also, I cannot get my additional images tab to display correctly. I've added additional images (test.jpg (main image) and test_1.jpg (2nd image), uploaded them to the proper folder, added this in my product description:

but my tab text says TEXT_TAB_TITLE_ADDITIONAL_IMAGES instead of Additional Images. Any ideas on what's happening?

Sounds like you dont have the full install. Did you download version 3.6AE from the downloads page? Did you rename YOUR_TEMPLATE to the template that you are using. Javascript(void) is fine, but if the script isn't in the right folder, then it wont work.

Disregard the 2nd product description tab. I was testing something and must not have blown that away yet. How do I check what version I have downloaded? Yes, I believe I have the contrib in my custom template folder. I had printed out the directions and walked through them step by step. At least I think I have it in the right folder. Could you post the path again just in case I screwed it up?

OK, after looking at that page. I see the css file is there, but the Javascript file does not seem to be loaded. check your includes/templates/classic/jscript/ folder. If this folder doesn't exist, you need to create it and put the jscript_tablitev3.js file in there from the tabbedlite zip file.

For the TEXT_TAB_TITLE_ADDITONAL_IMAGES thing, check your:
/includes/languages/english/extra_definitions/ folder for a file called tabbed_products_lite.php. That is the language file that will fix that.

If you are a little confused because there are a lot of files with the same name that do different things, don't be. Its just the way zen-cart matches everything together. Just be sure to follow the complete structure that is in the zip file. It looks as if you may have overlooked a few files to copy.

Please let me know if this fixes the problem for you. Your store is starting to look very nice so far :)

Yes that has solved both of my problems! Thank you so much. I had the javascript file but not enclosed in the folder. As soon as I moved it inside everything worked great. And I was missing the 2nd file. I so appreciate your help. And thank you for the compliment on the store. It's been a long week and lots of designing tweaks to get it to the point of where it's almost ready to go live.

NEW RELEASE! v 3.7 Admin & Non-Admin Editions.

New version uploaded to the Download section. This includes the new sub_ tags, a slight template change to the included tpl_product_info_display.php file (not necessary to replace if you are happy with your current modified one), and an fancied-up readme. Also updated and included the old Non-database version of the tabs to have all the new features as well in case anyone still wanted to use the non-admin version.

• Added sub_ tags to allow the use of multiple core code modules to be added the same tab (See new section regarding sub tags)
• Updated both the Admin Edition & Non-Admin Editions in this release. There are now 2 versions you can choose from, both with all the same features.
• Moved the Attributes above the Add to Cart button in the included tpl_product_info_display.php file when not using tabs. This seemed to be a highly liked customization when I did it on my demo site. It's not really related to the contrib, just a change that anyone could really make to their template, I just added it along with this.
• Updated the readme to change the look a bit and explain more.
• Updated the latest CSS add-ons so there are a few more tab styles to choose from.

Now that I have set up my store using Tabbed Products I have found something I think would be a neat feature to have if it were possible to do so.

When you add a product you first go to the preview page so that you can see how everything looks. Would it be possible for this page to interpet the Tabbed products and show us how it will look in the end?

As it is now I have to include the product then go to the front side of the store and pull up that product and make sure that the tabs look right and so forth. Its not a big hassle as I just made a template of the tabs I use and put them into a notepad and just cut and paste or fill out the information I want then cut and paste all that into the product description on the admin side when you are adding the product so I have had consistent results. It would just be nice to see it all on the preview page if possible.
