Funny, I just got that and now it won't go away. EP is also not apparently uploading anything. It says file uploaded fine but there are no changes in the cart at all. Any ideas?

    Hi I have Easypopulate running on a 1.2.7 version and I am just setting up a 1.3.5 site.(Version - EasyPopulate v1.2.5.4)

I have uploaded all the files to the folders but I am getting this error
Warning: main(includes/extra_datafiles/easypopulate_filenames.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /vhost/vhost5/s/h/o/shoes2buy.co.uk/www/admin/includes/init_includes/init_file_db_names.php on line 40

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'includes/extra_datafiles/easypopulate_filenames.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear') in /vhost/vhost5/s/h/o/shoes2buy.co.uk/www/admin/includes/init_includes/init_file_db_names.php on line 40
Any ideas what is going wrong for me?
    Thanks
    Andrew

Scrat, try checking that the file in the error message uploaded correctly and has the correct permissions.

Is there an alternative to microsoft excel. I have too many attributes and the spreadsheet only allows a set number of columns. I'm working to cut this number down but in the meantime . . . ?

Also it has been suggested Gnumeric will work with some modification, and if you love penguins there is Siag Office http://siag.nu/

Also have a look at CSVed 1.3.11

This can cope with many more columns than Excel or Open office.

Didn't know if you were already aware of this, but there appears to be a problem in Easy Populate where the master_categories_id field in the products table is set to 0. This is discussed in

    Re: Easy Populate support

First post, first time zen cart user. First problem lol

Just did a fresh install of zen cart, no products in the database. I got the newest Easy Populate standard, follow the install.txt directions to the tee. Here's what i get after placing the files, and chmodding my temp directory

    Code:
Warning: main(includes/application_top.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/scmadmin/public_html/cart/admin/index.php on line 23

Warning: main(includes/application_top.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/scmadmin/public_html/cart/admin/index.php on line 23

Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'includes/application_top.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/scmadmin/public_html/cart/admin/index.php on line 23
    any suggestions?
