Word before VAT on invoice

Hi !

Is it possible to put the word "varav", swedish for "of which" or something like that, before VAT 7% on invoice, on step 2/3, on the confirmation mail, everywhere where it shows how much the VAT are ? Like:

Summa: 300:-
Varav moms 25%: 60:-
Postpaket (1 x 0.03kg) (Bästa val): 11:-
Totalsumma: 311:-

instead of:

Summa: 300:-
Moms 25%: 60:-
Postpaket (1 x 0.03kg) (Bästa val): 11:-
Totalsumma: 311:-

Or to show:

Sub-Total: 240:-
Moms 25%: 60:-
Postpaket (1 x 0.03kg) (Bästa val): 11:-
Totalsumma: 311:-

One of these would be super if it was possible to have...
Any solutions/ideas ?

Use admin>tools>developer tool kit to locate the places in the language files that define the text for VAT and change those.

No, it won't work, because this Moms 25% is from the description from admin -> Locations / Taxes -> Tax Rates I guess, and if I change here from "Moms 25%" to "Varav moms 25%", it will say "Varav moms 25%" where it's not suppose to be..

So, either I have to find each file that I wrote above, or if there could be another solution, ex :

Sub-Total: 240:-
Moms 25%: 60:-
Postpaket (1 x 0.03kg) (Bästa val): 11:-
Totalsumma: 311:-

I found in shopping_cart.php in includes\languages\english\ this row:

define('SUB_TITLE_SUB_TOTAL', 'Sub-Total:');.

So there seems to exist an sub-total, but how to make it work is the big question...

Anyone know in which files to change (and where) or do anyone have a solution for this Sub-Total ?

No, sorry, it's already on, shown like this (taken from the example above):

Summa: 300:-
Varav moms 25%: 60:-
Postpaket (1 x 0.03kg) (Bästa val): 11:-
Totalsumma: 311:-

It shows the total incl the moms (vat) but excl the freight. So it's not showing the real sub-total

Unless someone knows otherwise, I don't think it's currently possible to show it as you wish. The way I get around this is to change the wording as follows:

Sub-Total (includes VAT @ 17.5%): £12.87
VAT element: £1.92
(Delivery within GB): £5.95
Total: £18.82

And I now understand your question!

The Sub-Total is defined as I suggested and where you have found it; the VAT element is altered in the description of the tax RATE at admin>locations/taxes
