registers_global = ON or OFF?

They were ON. I just made an .htaccess file in my main directory to turn them off:
# to turn off register_globals
php_value register_globals 0
Still doing the same thing.. Do I need to put that .htaccess file in a directory other than my main directory?
ETA - Just tried turning off register_globals in my admin directory - still not working..
Hi, This is just the add-on Im looking for. By the way, thanks for this great add-on. I have no problem installing it until I installed Image Handler 2. The two wont go along well. I have to remove one of the add-ons in order for the other to work. I get this error when both are installed:
Sorry, your security clearance does not allow you to access this resource.

Sorry for any inconvenience.
Does any file somewhere overwrite something? How can I fix this?
Pls. help. Thanks
Each time you add a mod, you have to edit your own profile to give yourself access to it. Go edit yourself and at the very bottom, there is a list of all the mods...give yourself clearance to use the Image Handler Mod :) .
Whew! thanks, Should have thought about it. Great mod!
Kathy's absolutely right, but better still would be to tweak the box file for the new mod (as per the step-by-step guide in the release package) before running it for the first time so that Admin Profiles can recognise it and place it in the right menu, and then enable it in your profile.
Kathy's approach relys on a built in safety net that recognises attempts to access things that should be in Admin Profile's database, but aren't. So it adds them but, for obvious security reasons, doesn't enable them automatcially.

hi
is there a way to create custom pages for admin users? So I want to make a simple version of the add Product page for a particular admin user.
thanks
mark
Yes. It's rather a big topic and not suitable for discussing on this thread which is dedicated to supporting the Admin Profiles add-on. But yes, you could write your own product page, include box files for it (as described in the Admin Profiles release packagae) and then use Admin Profiles to turn off the normal categories and products pages for that Admin User.

Admin Profiles v1.0.6 released today for 100% compatibility with Zen Cart 1.3.6.
There is no new functionality in this release.
If you are upgrading from Zen Cart 1.3.5 simply use the two files in the extras for 1.3.6 folder in the release package to replace their equivalent files in the 1.3.6 release package. All other files are unchanged and will not have been overwritten by the upgrade.
