I cannot see how the installation of Easy Populate could cause the issue you are having. My suggestion would be to re-upload your zen cart files using a dedicated ftp application (eg Filezilla) and see if this resolves the issue.

The most likely cause of this problem is corrupted or missing files.

Well I grabbed a new copy of zc as well as a new copy of easy populate and experienced the same thing. Might be something in my hosts php.ini, who knows. I'll just write up my own sql file for this. Thanks though!

• Would it be possible to import by using a chron job?
  
• The files will be large. Wll I have any time-out issues for processing the file?
  
• From what I've read, EP does not create new categories automatically, but will create new vendors. Is this correct?
  
• The EP tables require headers. Is field order important?

No. Categories are also created on the fly

No, as long as EOREOR is last in every row, including the header row.

This has something to do with mod_security - I'm sure this has been answered here somewhere before... If you search this site for "mod_security" I'm sure you will find the fix - it is a hosting issue.

must be a particular mod_security ruleset... I use mod_security and have no problems with EP

Your host should be able to see it in the mod_security audit log and tweak the ruleset accordingly.

Thanks, I disbled the mod-sec with .htaccess while I uploaded. All worked perfect with EP.

I need sum help. I am using excel to format the easypopulate uploads. I am trying to figure out how to calculate the price so that the entire column is increased by $10. It's been some time since I used excel.

1. Insert a column beside v_products_price. Give it the same name: v_products_price
2. Rename the OLD v_products_price to v_products_price_OLD
3. in the first blank cell of the new column, press =
4. Press arrow-left/right to move to the OLD price column and highlight the OLD price for that row
5. Press + 1 0 ENTER
6. Press Arrow-Up to select the price you just added
7. Press SHIFT and while holding shift, press PgDn until you get to the last row of real data
8. Press CTRL-D to "duplicate" the formula to all the cells.
