Okay. The first install of EZ populate went smoothly. Unfortunately, after attempting to have it take a db file set according to its template, I could no longer get anything but a 404 error when trying to access zen cart's admin area. The db did not upload because the original front end with all its sample products appeared and worked but none of the new products showed up.

Deleted the entire when I could not get it to restore.

Installed a new zen cart.

Uploaded EZ Populate Standard. Have everything set exactly as I had it then. Now, I got an error. I installed the SQL patch as per install instructions. I still get an error, but it is a different line reference than it was the last time. however the message is the same:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: ep_chmod_check() in /home/.johnwasher/snowbear/secure.marinepartsman.com/Yamaha-outboard-parts-store/admin/easypopulate.php on line 204

The temp bin IS chmoded 700

What am I missing here?

BTW, the cart is now loaded on a SSL server instead of fighting the split folder issue. Cart was running fine, and still seems to be.

I have a 300,000 product DB to get up this week.

Looks like some files are missing or corrupt, as that function in the error message is part of the function file in the package.
