    Default UPS shipping problem

    Hi!
    I am using Zen-Cart 1.2.7 (www.megastrings.com) & 1.3.7 (localhost), and have the same problem in versions above.
    The check out process works great for USA customers,however, when customer come outside United States and get to step one of the checkout process (Delivery information) - he can't choose UPS method

    What am I doing wrong?

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    You have a really old, old version of Zen Cart ... we are on v1.3.7 ...

    What is your address and the customers shipping address where this does not work?

    my store address are- United States, zip code 91423, California zone .

    customers shipping address for example Israel, Italy (I mean customers, without possibility to buy through UPS shipping method). I'm added a screenshot in my 1st post , that I recieved from angry potential customer :)

    Zen-Cart 1.3.7 version for my site is ready and I'm just want to upload it, but I have the same problem on localhost
    I'm locally added a customer in clear 1.3.7 with shipping address like you can see in a screenshot from 1st post. And can't to choose UPS method again

    ...so I want at first to solve the problem local, and after that replace Zen-Cart 1.2.7

    Try this: Admin -> Configration -> Shipping / Package, then change "Enter the Maximum Package Weight you will ship" to 150, and try it again.

    FYI: This issue was not limited to his version of 1.2.7 as he indicated in the original post. He stated 1.2.7 was live and was working on 1.3.7 locally.

    This issue persists in 1.3.7 and I assume it has not been corrected in the latest build since this post was apprently misunderstood.

    Zen Cart 1.3.7
    Patch: 1::
    Database Patch Level: 1.3.7

    We have UPS enabled with XPR as a shipping option. Our store is located in the US (33909) and when providing an international shipping address the UPS shipping methods fieldset is empty (destination country set to AU in this case) during the first step of checkout. Which in turn prevents the user from checking out. Clicking proceed loops back to step 1 since no shipping method could be chosen.

    Has anyone ever done anything about this or provided a quick-fix?

    Note: Upgrading is not an option unless this has been documented and corrected since it is the only known issue we have with 1.3.7.

    What are your settings in the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ...

    What is the weight of the Order?

    What is the Ship From and Ship To?

    To: AU 6430

    The test order did not even come close to 150 lbs, it was around 10 lbs. I did however increas that value and tested it to make sure that was not the culprit before posting.

    The Tare is adding to the 150lbs

    a Tare of 5:1 so it adds 5% plus 1 which is:
    150 + 7.50 + 1 = 158.50

    That is broken into 2 packages for:
    79.25lbs

    as it exceeds the Maximum of 150 lbs ...

    How does that apply to my shipping test? The total weight of the test cart was only around 10 lbs.

    Note: Using the shipping estimator, I can get it to display UPS estimates for US, CA, MX, Brazil, UK, etc. Destinations that would not display rates include Congo and anywhere in AU.
