Next question...can you have a zencart sidebox with the most recent posts? I didn't see that as one of the sidebox options.

I intend to offer a side box displaying the latest post as another module. (It is not prepared by default in the main body of WordPress)

I am developing a module for Wordpress and Zencart into separate directories.

I'm no php whizz and am struggling with both the integration using Hira's guide and the NOT a Blog guide.

I thought I had done it all and then I found I can access the Zen-Cart admin but everything on the home page and WP-Admin page is now blank.

Would it be displayed normally before adding a theme?
In addition, how is it when you try to return a theme? (In a WordPress management screen)

I am trying to make Zen-Cart and WP work with the N.Design Studio theme as used on s-page.net.

Can anybody advise what it might be?

Does anyone have an install set of Zen-Cart 1.3.7/WP2.0.x (can't use 2.1) and the N.Design Studio theme that can be modified and used. Maybe that would be quicker for me as I'm stumped and want to get the site up and not spend time learning php.

Don't get discouraged! Usually the blank screen (like the one I am seeing at your URL now) is a sign of a PHP error. Either you "REQUIRE" a file that is not there, or there is some minor syntactic mistake.

If you have access to your Web server error logs, they would have very helpful information. Apache would even specify the exact line number where the problem occurred (you are likely to see two error messages for each actual error - don't let it confuse you.)

I would let someone more experience advise on PHP debugging strategies...

In S-page,
I customized a template of ZenCart to display like [The N.Design Studio theme]　in a header, a footer, a style sheet.
And I set it not to display the right column when somebody accesses weblog.

Things are working out pretty good with the wordpress contrib. Again, thanks to hira and the other forum members for the helpful hints and tips! :)

I'm stuck on one thing however which...ultimately isn't a big deal if I can't remove, but it would be nice. Heh. Basically, I want to remove the line for comments as it isn't really necessary for my site. I've tried disabling comments in the WP admin but it doesn't really do anything. I've read up on the support forums for WP but I haven't quite been able to get the commenting removed. Any thoughts on this?

Also, I don't know if anyone is using it, but the archive feature for WP has been acting kind of odd. After I set it up the first time, it seems to work and display correctly the archived entries. A couple days later I come back to the site and see that the archive page is blank. What gives?

As always, if I find my own solution I will contribute it in here. Until then, more hints please. :)

Oh, another thing I noticed recently is that with the wordpress posts appearing on the front page of my cart, there seems to be a significant lag when loading the entries and the right side of the page.

Everything will load fast until it gets to the middle and the latest post and then it lags for a few seconds before quickly loading the rest of the page. Does anyone else have this problem? It's not really a big deal mind you, but I'm curious if this is something that is to be expected or not.

Wordpress is now installed on my server in the same directory as zen cart. However, I can't get the permalinks to work. I find this weird because my seourl on zencart is working really well. You guys have an idea of what is wrong with my setup? If someone is willing to help me I could also show you in the blog admin.
