Just installed this great mod. but seem to have an issue that I get the image popup's on the main index page (Index Listing) but when I go into the products listing page (using
Column Layout / Grid Layout for Products Listing (Add On Module for Zen Cart v1.3.6)) the popup image is not 'popping up' ?
    Am I missing some thing!

Posted by Xtreeme: yes I definatly looked at your site. And its just what were trying to do. For some reason Im having issues with the top image only. The actual link to image is.........empty! Which is the end result of some problem. Any advice on settings IS appreciated as Im lost here. I could give screen shots too of certain settings if need be. Thanks alot for helping me with this.

Xtreem....what I'm getting when I click on the top image, is that it's (ZenCart, I think) trying to show the 100x100 image, again, and IH won't let it display, and visa-versa, ZenCart won't let IH show it's image.

O.k. You've almost got it. That top image is set at 300x300, so your image will have to be gigger than that. Say 500x500, with IH's maximum width and height set at 500x500. That's just to show one image, then larger on mouse-over, then even larger on click.

If you want to show one small image, then a bigger, different medium image on mouse-over, and yet, another different and larger image on click, then............
get your 3 images ready. We'll say that they're for product x, and name them accordingly......

    1. Productx.gif (100x100) Default
    2. Productx_MED.gif (300x300) IH placeholder Medium
    3. Productx_LRG.gif (500x500) Large

Then upload them (one at a time, to avoid errors) to IH in the appropriate boxes.

Then set ZenCart image settings to match (as I posted earlier).
    Teach them to shop and they will shop today;
Teach them to Zen and they will OWN a shop tomorrow!

Why does he need an image named _MED and _LRG? The main purpose of IH2 is to make it do all that work for you. When I use IH2, I upload ONE image at the largest size. Lets say I upload a 600 x 600, IH2 shows that as my enlarged image, then creates a 300 x 300 for my medium (product image) and creates a 100x100 for my small images.

jettrue, you didn't read all of my post, or just missed a sentance, one.......I said that if he wants 3 DIFFERENT images to show, then he will need 3 different pics. take a look here, www.linenspace.com , and pay close attention to the image you see when you hover over the "Dish/bar towels". See the DIFFERENT image that hovers? (_MED 400x400) Now click on the first one (small 200x200), which will take you to that product page. See....the image that was the hover image on the first page, is now displayed as the product image (still _MED 400x400). Now, click on that image, and you will see the 3rd (_LRG 500X500).

That's the difference between using one image, and using 3.

Thanks for that , I still believe that he has an issue with the IH2 functions. He has a large image uploaded (600 x 600 - he sent me a screen shot of the image handler page where it is uploaded) and theoretically it should be showing the large image with the "click to enlarge". And also, his image for the product and the "additional image" are the exact same image... so I'm not sure that he actually wants three different images, and think that possibly he added another (same) image to test the hover function. As a side note, all of his other products have one image.

Jettrue, maybe I misunderstood Xtreeme. Sure, I knew he wanted that top pic working, but after he posted........(quote: "yes I definatly looked at your site. And its just what were trying to do."), I thought he wanted all 3 different. Until then, I was trying to help with the top one. But, you are right, he's only got 1 image for each product, at the time.

Yes, jettrue, you're right here, too, if he's got IH Min. & Max image size set to to 600x600 in Admin/Configuration/Images, also, then it should show perfectly.
    Something's not right, somewhere, though.

If it's not that, your server hosting may not give you access to use the ImageMagick binary on their servers -- you could try changing IH2 to use the GD library and see if that works.

How do I switch to the GD library??

    Avel
Still looking for the answer to this problem... not able to see the images at all when I installed the IH2
