New Products Sidebox

Hi, i have about 800 products on my website, and even though im constantly adding new products to my website, the New Products Sidebox still keeps showing the same products?

Can you tell me why this is?


i would like it to show the newest products in there automaticly, Also the New products for April, still show products i added to the store a few months back! and not showing products i recently added this month?

any ideas?

I am looking for the answer to the same question.

My new products for April (or whatever the current month) automatically rotates the products whenever you refresh the page or return to the homepage, but I want to be able to limit the items that can be chosen (to items that are actually new for the current month)

Did you define what a New Product is?

Configuration ... Maximum Values ...

New Product Listing - Limited to ...
Limit the New Product Listing to
0= All Products
1= Current Month
7= 7 Days
14= 14 Days
30= 30 Days
60= 60 Days
90= 90 Days
120= 120 Days

Or, are all of your products still considered New?
