Hi everybody,

Because we are using zencart for one of our project, a friend and me had to use a french translation.

Unfortunetely the one in the download section was completely out of date.
We decided to correct it and put it in the section (currently 1.3.7-v3).

I think this thread will be a good place for you to post bugs or un-translated sentences.

We have installed a demo where you can see the translation at work.

it is a vanilla install (I think we say like this when it is without modification ?), with our french translation and CAPTCHA plugin.
By the way we modify the CAPTCHA plugin but it is another topic.

you can subscribe and do what you want, we will reset the database every hour.

We are sorry for our previous releases (1.3.7-v1 and 1.3.7-v2), they were done quickly with some bugs and missing files.
Normally v3 is now OK.

Thank you for your work and for sharing it.

I am using your French translation and there is a problem with emails sent in text format, for example order confirmation. They contain html entities such as é or  

I created an account and did a test order on your demo, but the email sending doesn't seem to work. I wanted to see if your demo has the same problem.

If you have a real store somwhere, could you please check if you have the same problem ? If not, what did you do to solve this ?

I uploaded a new version.

I discovered that my email server was blacklisted, I corrected it but that will take about 24hours to take effect.

I reseted my databases, so you will need to create an account again.

OK, great ! Your order confirmation in text format is correct.

Did you upload a new version of the french pack ? Or have you made a fix to translate html entities when sending text messages ?

I 'm facing the same problem as Moktar although I downloaded version 5.

May you please let me know which files (and code) solve the problem.
I need to check weither the fixe is present or not.

Hi Megaman,

Thanks for your support. It looks like only the variables are showing problems with the accents when sent via plain-text by E-Mail. I confirm to you that my charset is working fine as sending a plain-text E-Mail with accent from the admin console works fine.
I also found an interesting post related to the same problem but on OSCommerce. The 3rd option to solve this problem proposes the creattion of a PHP function....Well I'm not an expert...see below:
