Hi I test and it work for me for 1 additional image, I did not try yet to do more, as I am working on my site now

This is how it work for me

picture.jpg from admin

In /public_html/your_store/images/ picture_00.jpg From FTF
In /public_html/your_store/images/large/ picture _00_LRG.jpg from FTF

And I assume for your next pictures you do it like this
In /public_html/your_store/images/ picture_01.jpg From FTF
In /public_html/your_store/images/large/ picture _01_LRG.jpg from FTF

If it doesn’t work double check in your FTF folder you got your picture set like that
In image you should have 2 pictures picture.jpg & picture_00.jpg
in large one picture picture _00_LRG.

Just clarifying, I keep seeing you mention FTF, do you mean the FTP? File Transfer Protocol?

Thanks

Protocol just means a way of doing something.

I guess I am still totally lost. I'm not sure where the other images go so they'll show up in the lightbox. The first image is uploaded while you're writing the description of the product your selling. Do I just upload them to another folder via the FTP and they'll automatically show up on the lightbox?

Yes only the addition pictures not the one you already add thru your admin
If it doesn’t work, verify your FTF folder and see how the are listed as I state above,

Small images go in the images folder
_MED images go in the medium folder (used on product info page)
_LRG images go in the large folder (used for popup/lightbox)

for each additional image you will need to create a small version and a large version (medium images are not used with additional images), these additional images will go in the same directories as the product images......

PRODUCT IMAGES:
pic.jpg (small version) goes into images folder
pic_MED.jpg (medium) version goes into medium folder
pic_LRG.jpg (large) goes into large folder

PRODUCT ADDITIONAL IMAGES:
pic_01.jpg (small) goes into the images folder
pic_01_LRG.jpg (large) goes into large folder

Hope this helps........thats why I use Image Handler 2

with image handler you'll only need one image.....the large one.....and image handler will create the med and small versions..... the latest version of image handler works fine with 1.3.7......at least it has for me.......there have been some issues with image handler and lightbox but I have not experience these issues.....just lucky I guess or maybe its cause I read everything about a mod before I install it that way I know what to expect......In my case I loaded IH2 and made sure everything worked before I loaded lightbox. I also made sure that the image hover popup for IH2 was turned off as that seems to be an issue with lightbox, but I didn't need it anyway......

I have few Questions if you please can answer me before I install it

I will have a new store replacing this one, ( had lots of issue and it all new now)
You saying to first install the IH2 and after the lightbox?

“image hover popup for IH2 was turned off” from where will I do that ?

and should I have all my pictures in 1 size and what size are recommended ?

I saw your site very impressing

After you install IH2 in admin>configuration>images there controls for IH2 are there. You can make the large image whatever works for you but optimize them for the smallest file size and try not to make them to huge.......I hate to scroll.....with lightbox installed I try not to let the image I upload be bigger than 600px wide or 485px tall.....after that it depends on the product being shown....smaller is always better.....use your best judgement
