Hi,

I just uploaded a new version (v6). I corrected what I found. But for some translation, the problem is more complicated than just translate a word : global variables are used both for email and website content.
I will try to fix this this week.

Can I give you some help/assistance in order to speed up the solving of this problem ? I know that is not an easy fix, so don't hesitate to come back if I can be of any help.

Btw, I would be interested to know how many zeners have observed this problem. Has somebody observed the same problem with other language translations ?

This problem was recently reported in the customers orders section of the forum. It appears that accents are being correctly output over HTML emails but not over TEXT emails.

This solution is applicable for almost all languages actually. It just needs to be set correctly into the language files.

Hello,

I just looked to the translation to find a solution to this problem.

First I was thinking to add special variables only for email
like "TEXT_GV_NAME" for the website and "EMAIL_GV_NAME" for the email.
But for some variables like "STORE_NAME" that will be hard to explain to people that they need to configure two variables, one with HTML charaters, and one without.

Then I looked to the solution from http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showth...ustomer+orders but I dont find it really easy.

Would not it be easier to use the PHP function html_entity_decode(), and to add it to the zen_mail() function?
Maybe using the option "receive email in HTML or PLAIN TEXT" during account creation, would help to know if we need to call this function or not, and then make all the translation like if everything will be in HTML.
