Ok, I figured it out. I made the width 20% and it worked. One more question, how can I move the dropdown menue to the left instead of center?

You can either change the 70em and 66.9em to 800px so that it fills the width of the site, or you can remove the

margin:0 auto;
text-align:center;

from

div#dropMenu {
  	width:70em;
  	margin:0 auto;
        text-align:center;
	z-index:1000;
	position:relative;
	}

and delete the width:66.9em from div#dropMenu ul.level1

Nope, that's done at the top of the file:

/*green*/
div#dropMenu li a:hover, div#dropMenu li.submenu li.submenu:hover {color: #4f4f4f!important;background:#ffffff;}

You can change the #ffffff to pink, if you like. :-)

I have a question regarding the right hand column.

I am changing all the colors to a custom scheme, shades of gold and orange. When the center column is longer than the right hand column the right hand column wraps the gray color to meet the bottom border.

here is the example:

Now I wish that to equal the color above it, so that it is solid orange in the right hand column. However I cannot find the proper place to define that.

That gray is defined in the background image, which is content_bg.gif. So you'll have to open up that image, change the grey to yellow. It's a "faux" column.

Love the colors, by the way!
