can't find answer to "where is the rest of the cc number"

Hi, I have tried to find the answer here, and only found half.

I understand that for security reasons, when someone orders a product with a credit card, part of the cc number is e-mailed, and the other part goes somewhere else.
Where is this somewhere eles? I read one thread that said it goes to the cart admin. I looked in the admin area and found nothing, and I checked the admin e-mail account and found nothing.
Can anybody help?

IF you told the module to store the number it will display the second 1/2 on the invoice viewable through the admin

Thank you, that's what I thought, but I can't find the invoice in the admin.The only place the purchase is showing up, is in "products purchased".

(The owner of the store/site says he made a purchase, to test the store. He got the e-mail and is complaining that he's "lost" $330. Which is weird because he has his own cc number to process the order. I told him originally to only send $1.00 for the test.)

Anyway, can you tell me where the invoice should be? The payment module was set to true, for storing the cc number. Thanks again, Karole

look in admin -> customers -> orders

Thank you. Do you know of any reason why it might not show up there? There are no orders listed there.

(Another strange thing, is that in that customer's info, it doesn't show the person as ever logging on or ordering anything at all!)

customers->orders->edit (next to delete)

all the details are there
