What problem are you having with the shopping cart?

When a user adds an item does it just say your shopping cart is empty?

yes, your are absolutely right.

Do you know what should i do?
When I turned the seo addon off in the backend, the shopping cart works fine again.

I'm not sure, I was having the same problem, but I never really got a chance to look at it because SEO URLs was somehow preventing users from logging in, that problem is being looked at so perhaps they are actually the same problem, right now I have it disabled and I'm not going to play with it until that is cleared up.

In the previous post, I found
Merlinpa1969 has a site( http://www.york-karate.com/ ), and it is working well with seo url.

Hope he has ideas to solve the problem, that will be great.

The problem is that if i switch the seo url on in the backend, the shopping cart is always empty?

Hi, all.

I thought the SEO URL is working like redirecting the original url to SEO url.
Therefore, when it does the redirect, we would lose the information from the posted form.
That means all the form such as shopping cart or contact us form would be not working correctly with seo url.

Am I right?
Anyone has got a site working well with this SEO URL?

No it does not work,

just signed up for a Linux hosting, moved a site that i had in windows host and it look like it was working until you add an item to your cart, then it will show an empty cart (this is a known bug) and here is a list of known bugs in it

• Card details are not passed through checkout, nor emailed in 2 parts
• With this mod and shared SSL on can not login as an existing customer
• shopping cart doesn't work
• Paypal payment problem!

if someone got to work with all these these bugs then must spend a ton of time working on it or they are very very good in PHP .

for the average or below average programmer this will take some time and then you find out that you are breaking something else.

I like the contribution and i appreciate the developer effort and time but i will turn it off for now until these issues resolved.

i hope this safe someone else time and frustration.

I am getting a 404 error,The requested URL /zc_install/index.php does not exist . since I installed it on my second shop on server... and doesnt show up in config in admin. My second shop is in a sub directory, I would appreciate some help ... Thanks in advance

reinstalled again and again finally started working weird but thanks anyways :)
