That can be changed in /includes/classes/seo.url.php

Do you have the code change that needs to be applied?

Even though the URL is wrong, does it still process the cart properly or does that get messed up too?

Everything works just fine from a customer perspective but it doesn't work from a search engine perspective. SE indexes the wrong url for that given product with attributes.

Also a quick Question, If I use those link friendly mod, what happen to my links already all over the search engine? Am I going to get error pages? am i going to loose ranking or anything by installing this program?

The SEO url mod that you posted the link for is good and I will have no problem purchasing it except that it doesn't meet my requirement. That version only supports 3 levels of categories and it doesn't appears to support https url of the same domain which technically it's not a big deal just something to be aware of.

They are going to release a version in 01/2008 that supports unlimited category level so I personally will take a look then.

As far as your old indexed pages, if they are standard Zen Cart urls you will not lose anything as long as the new mod gives a 301 redirect, the ranking will be passed to the new seo urls. If you have used seo url mod in the past then you need to redirect those url back to Zen Cart original in other to retain the benefit of those links.

Hi there. I have installed seo.urls (the latest version on the downloads page) and am running zen cart 1.3.7.

Everything seems to run fine. But before i installed it i read through these pages and pages on the forum about seo.urls about various problems, that i can't seem to see.

Am i correct to assume that all the following bugs have been fixed?

1. 404 error page (seems to work for me?)
2. 301 redirect from my old indexed pages to my new seo url pages... seems to work, they redirect but im not sure if its a 301.

3. Paypal ipn seems to be there.

Is there any bugs or mods i need to know about that are current, its a lot of pages to search through!

Hi there i have a bug i have found with seo url.

If i refresh my browser and view my site for the first time, when i click on a product i get the product url with

?zenid=a7f5833dfb32595db6c190ce78f0866d

added to the end.

then if i click the product url i get the same (obviously) product page.

Meaning i have duplicate urls and google will penalize my site...

One url that is the product url and one with that stuff on the end...

Any ideas??

Extra edit: I have just tested and its when i remove my store's cookie i get these duplicate urls.
