Also has Jund brought up a point. There has been reports of a version of ImageMagick breaking png files. There are posts in this thread about it I believe.

The original images are JPG. Should then the watermark be renamed to JPG also? They are still PNG the way they came and I've tried setting JPG, PNG or no_change in the program and the only image that gets the watermark is the small image.
