Error creating new customer

I have just re-installed Zen-Cart, this time without the demo part. I installed ZC 1.3.0.2 and the swedish language pack 1.3.0.1 but when I create a new user, I receive the following error:

1146 Table 'zencart.subscribers' doesn't exist
in:
[select count(*) as total from subscribers where email_address = '[email protected]' ]

Can anyone please help me with this problem ?

This is exactly my problem. I've been looking everywhere for help so if someone could help that would be fanstastic!!!! I'm almost ready to launch but this is holding me back. If anyone has a solution or could point me in the right direction that would be great. I'm using the latest version of Zen Cart. Please help!

I've also looked in Myphpadmin and found that I do have a table called 'subscribers'

Does that mean I'm missing a certain query or something like that? I do not know much about sql so please forgive me if the answer to this questions is quite obvious.

The error message is telling you that the table it's looking for doesn't exist.

If it *does* exist, then somehow you're not telling Zen Cart about it.

1. What is the *exact* error message that *you* are getting?
2. What is the *exact* table name of the subscribers table you have in your phpMyAdmin?
3. What DB_PREFIX is set in your /includes/configure.php file ?

Thanks so much for your reply DrByte. I'm stressting as I am so close to launching but I have this problem.

The error I am getting is...
1146 Table 'bea15660_zc1.TABLE_SUBSCRIBERS' doesn't exist
in:
[select count(*) as total from TABLE_SUBSCRIBERS where email_address = '[email protected]' ]

The exact name of my table is...
zen_subscribers and that is in my zen cart database

My database prefix in my configure.php file is...
'DB_PREFIX', 'zen_'

I hope this information helps.

If it's saying TABLE_SUBSCRIBERS ... in uppercase letters just like that, then the definition is missing for that constant ... which means you didn't install the subscribers mod completely.

There's likely an extra_datafiles folder in the zip which contains a .php file with a define('TABLE_SUBSCRIBERS'..... statement in it somewhere. You need to make sure that file's on your server.

I installed the whole mod again and now it works!!! I think I was missing a file

Although now I have two state fields...one's a drop down menu and the other is a text feild. O well, I'm sure I can fix it. Thanks so much for your help I really do appreciate it!!!!!
