If you are a coder than you can customize the code in the:
/admin/gv_mail.php

If you are comfortable with editing database tables then you can do that in phpMyAdmin ...

If you are not comfortable with either, then you might want to post in the Commercial Help Wanted for someone to customize the code for you ...

Custom Code is always better than raw database manipulations as there would be less likelihood of errors that way ...

You cannot buy in Units of zero ... division by zero will fail ...

Edit your Product and set it at least to 1 meaning that you can buy Products providing the quantity is divisible by 1 ...

I tried configuring gift certificate but in product types. The count is zero.

So I encounter the error that payment is not accepted at your region.

What have I missed out ? I followed the instructions from FAQ/knowledge base.

How can I determine how much is in the Gift Certificate bank of a customer?
I can see when they email gifts to another, but I don't see their amount.
I am sure everything works perfectly, it is just a check..
Short of looking in the mysql db.

We got our website live and the 3rd order was for a gift certificate... Cool..

I have a customer that has already purchased custom gift certificates (w/ codes) . How do I change the code generated code in the database to the one's printed on the cards? I can 'browse' the coupon_code and see the code's but, it will only allow me to view them.

How do I get to the codes to change them?

You can browse, in phpMyAdmin, the table coupon_gv_customer

In the upcoming v1.3.8 you will see the customers' balance on the customers.php in the Admin if Gift Certificates are installed ...
