644 and 444 refer to permissions settings.
You may have to simply check the boxes to make up the right settings.

Work in cPanel file manager you click on the includes/configure.php and it gives u :

configure.php
File Type: PHP script text

Show File
Delete File
Edit File
Change Permissions
Rename File
Copy File
Move File

You click on Change Permissions (like u said)

and it give u

configure.php
Mode User Group World
Read 4 4 4
Write
Execute
Permission
