I'm 99% sure that your filenames and/or location for these additional images are incorrect.

If setup correctly, your additional images wil appear on the product page (and also be viewable via Zen Lightbox).

I had the same problems as everyone else with additional images not showing up even after re-following the readme. Replace modules/YOUR_TEMPLATE/additional_images.php with the attached file. If you have altered this file use a comparison program like winmerge to merge the files. Basically, if you go through your existing addtional_images.php file and replace all instances of str_replace with ereg_replace it should work. At least it does on my heavily modified cart.

Plus, it may or may not be helpful for Firefox and Opera to show extra images by adding this line to your stylesheet.css :

.additionalImages a {display:all;}

Let me know if this works.

Thanks very much Matt. Unfortunately, still no luck. And I can even see the empty <!--bof Additional Product Images --><!--eof Additional Product Images --> comment tags in the source code. Very frustrating.

Hi Guys,

Im a totally newbie..so please excuse my basic questions.


Iv installed light box (well tried) i can now see Zen cart in my admin area.

And uploaded the files to the correct destination.

But when i click on a image (to enlarge) instead of opening in a new window like before..it opens in the same...

and you have to click back to get where you where before.

Wat have i done wrong??

It might be a browser problem (I'm running internet explorer 6.0), it seems that all websites with the lightbox don't display the lightbox on my computer, they just open the image in the browser.

Yes I do and i checked the website with firefox and the lightbox works fine.

OK, I finally got it working. It just absolutely wouldn't work without image handler installed. As soon as I installed that, everything was good. Only thing I can't figure out now is why "use css buttons" no longer works...

Work for my fine (IE7). However, your website (and all the images displayed in Zen Lightbox) take quite a while to load for me. I'm on a 20mb/s connection so that shouldn't be an issue.

When I viewed the larger image of your product the Zen Lightbox loading animation was displayed for aroun 5-10 seconds. Then the picture loaded.

Slowness aside, it worked fine. :)
