Newsletter-Only Subscriptions for v1.3x

Hello,

Can anybody give me your website and let me sign in your newsletter? After I sign in, can you send me one testing letter to see what is the "unsubscribe link" look like?

I installed newsletter-only subscribe module onto my site. But the newsletter I sent has NO "unsubscribe link"!!

Just installed this and everything seems fine EXCEPT that when I enter the subscribe page it gives an warning about the email address even before the customer has managed to do anything, which is quite annoying and confusing.. Can it be fixed?

Hello. I just installed this module but have a question and a problem.
First the problem.

I'm using Cherry_Zen template, subscription box is on the right, there are two radio buttons to choose either HTML or Text. Problem is the Subscribe button is scrunched up so it looks like it's a choice of the 2nd radio button.

I have a lot of subscribers on a list I want to shift to Zen-Cart, can I use this mod to do a batch upload or do I have to enter them in one by one.

Also how do I get rid of the Zen Cart banner and change the copyright to me instead of Zen.

excuse me can I seriously remove the
"Is your email address correct? It should contain at least 6 characters. Please try again."
warning which appears every time when people enter the store/index.php?main_page=subscribe page?!?!

Hello everyone

I installed all the modules and everything seem to be good, except when I try to subscribe an email it give me an error "SUBSCRIBE_DUPLICATE_NEWSONLY_ERROR".

Wat caused this? I attachedan imge of the error in this post.

Hi everyone. My apologies for being absent and abandoning my upgrade efforts on this module. I have been buried in client work for some time and have not had time to work on it.

It just so happened that I have a client who was in need of this particular module, so I had a good opportunity to finish it up. I took the original 2.0.7 version that I had made available as a beta test, and applied the appropriate patches that were posted in this thread (thanks to everyone who helped!). I have tested it on a clean ZC v1.3.7 install and ran into no problems whatsoever. The module is now available from the Downloads page as Newsletter Subscribe v2.0.7.

Should anyone run into any bugs, please feel free to contact me and I will get back to you as soon as I possibly can. As I will be using this module as well, I will need to fix any bugs that may arise right away, so this should keep things moving smoothly.

thanks for the update and contribution but still the same major problem remains that email address error is displayed EVERY time customer enters the subscribe page... even if he wouldn't had ever visited the page or yet typed anything in the box

Can you give more details about the error? I haven't encountered it myself, but I would be happy to check into it.

I see what you mean now, poosk. Never tried linking directly to the subscribe page, but I'll see what I can do about that. Shouldn't be anything complicated.

Please forgive me if this has been replied to. I have installed the mod and when you add your email, the center column expands way too much. Where can we define the column width?
