Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

update... I copied all the images that were created in my secure_html/bmz_cache folder to my public_html/bmz_cache folder, which seems to work with some quirks in the meantime (it's a live site... I know, I know).

I also added to call out for the jscript and css file to my html header, so the zoom works now.

But I still need a better fix for my split folder system. Any thoughts?

update again... I've uninstalled Image Handler 2 for the time being... but if anyone has any advice on fixing my problem, please let me know. thanks!

Installed Image Handler 2 to my 1.3.7 Zen Cart. Images seem to show up fine in my https://www.kaylala.com catalog but not in my http://www.kaylala.com catalog. As you may have guessed I have a split file system because of my host... home/secure_html and home/public_html.

Any thoughts?

Also I don't see the fancy hover effect.

Easy fix and only fix I know, move to host where you don't have to use file splitting.
With Zen-Cart you don't need a split file system for Zen-Cart to run in secure mode. It is smart enough to know when to switch to secure mode.

Perhaps you could try making a list of the files in the Lightbox mod and then replace any files that were overwritten with original files from fresh zen cart folder?

I once had Lightbox installed and i am almost convinced that it caused my site to have the problems i'm having with IH2 now. In fact, my cry for help is just above yours, literally.

So you check to see that your watermark files are not corrupt, are named right and in the correct folders?

What version of IH?

And you still not answered my question on how you are uploading your images.

I'm sorry if this was posted already but there's so many pages to scroll and find. When I installed image handler it worked perfectly, until i installed lightbox. The images stopped displaying when I hovered over the image. So, I restored my original setting but that didn't work. can somebody help me?

My version of IH is 2.0.

Typically I upload product images through each product's management page, on the same screen where you set the price for a product.

Have you tried deleting one of the product photos and then uploading via IH admin?
You are using just 1 image per product?

Any clue what/why this is included? Is it necessary to upload it?

This is also twice the size of the previous versions.

What actually IS the most current version. The ones here or the ones on the BMZ website?

The most current version is the one posted in Zen-Cart downloads.
I would use the one dated Sep 16 2006 until there is more info on the one with "shopad" folder.

Hi,

Sorry if this has been covered in the 80 pages on this thread, but I need help with an issue.

I have IH2 installed and it seems to be working, but when I hover over an image I get the IH2 popup, but I also receive the standard tool tip on top of it.

Did I miss something on the install or is there a way to turn the tool tips off?
