Hi cd,
Well, here's the scoop. I have 4 folders in /includes/templates (permissions of 755): cherry_zen, classic, template_custom and template_default. I copied the jscript folder and the popup_image_additional folder from template_default to cherry_zen and template custom - no avail. Any other ideas?
Thanks,
Mary
Hi,
I've just installed IH2 and when I got into admin->configuration->images there are no need options available just the original ones.
When I was installing it I followed the install instructs but when i went to admin->tools->image handler2 then clicked admin i wasn't given an option to install image handler, the only options available were
remove image handler from database
clear image cache
scan for old IH0.x and 1.x original images
I assumed that meant it had installed, but still no config options.
Can anyone give me some advise about what i did wrong?
Thanks
Do you scroll all the down on admin->configuration->images page?
IH options are at the very bottom.
Have you check to be sure you uploaded "all" the files needed for IH and in the right folders?
Still nothing then click the link for "remove image handler from database".
You should get a delete button, use it.
(Note: you are not deleting any files by doing this.)
The page should refresh and at the top of the page you see this "Image Handler successfully removed".
You should now have the link "Install Image Handler", use it.

I would suggest that you re-install the files and make SURE that you overwrite all the files and start fresh. I had similar problems and re-installing worked for me.
Hope this helps... good luck
Thanks tophand,
I followed your instructions to remove and reinstal and it worked straight away.
As much as I hate to say this but, I have messed up IH2. Right now here's how it is working:
I have tried un-installing and re-installing. Hmm haven't tried the cache. Guess I will try that one next.1. zoom only works for the whole image.
2. When I turn hotspot on or off it will either work on the full image or not at all
Ok... tried that and that's not the problem
Also, if anyone would like to look at my CSS please do. I don't know how long the images have not been functioning because I was working on the CSS so much.
Will gladly grovel for help (it used to but I killed it somehow)
Oh.. and it doesn't work at all on IE now (sigh)
Any help greatly appreciated!
BTW: I just got through working out a solution for the peekaboo bug... maybe this had something to do with it???
