How to optimize zencart...download files corrupted?

I thought I fixed this already...but after a while, my customers' downloaded files were corrupted again.

Can somebody please help? This is so frustrating! I'm not a programmer and so clueless as to what to do!

I get this message on my site:

or sometimes I get this one:

Then after this, all my customers downloaded files were all corrupted. This wasn't the case early this month, everything seemed to work out just fine....until we got those messages that became the bain of my shop!

I contacted my web host and they said:

This error occurs when your site has reached 50 thousands queries on the database within one hour. It resets after the hour.

You will need to optimize your web application to use less queries on the database.


So how do I optimize zen cart then?

PLEASE HEEEEELLLLLPPPPPP!!!!!!!

You can try turning off 'show category counts' to bring down the number of queries being generated.

Or get a host that isn't so tight-assed about your use of the DB server.
