    Betty,

I haven't tested it with 1.38 myself, but since QBI is virtually completely self contained and interfaces directly with the database, it should work with just about any version of Zen Cart.

    Thanks,
    Adam

You're so right Adam. I didn't take time to think of that. I think I'm just panicing due to the number of stores and the number of mods installed on each one that I haven't taken the time to think them through.

I think this calls for taking a few steps backward and putting some though into the whole thing to avoid pre-upgrade burnout!

Thank you for bringing me back to the world of logic!

    betty

Does it matter what version of Quickbooks I get? Like Small Business Simple Start edition or Quickbooks Pro? And is there much difference between 2007 and 2008? I'm looking to buy it and just wanted to make sure I get the right version/edition.

You might want to know what Intuit is no longer supporting their own IIF Import and actually recommending against using it.

How come I don't see the payment chart 15-1 image showing up in the admin section, setup/payment match/payment. I get the following message or a variion of both:

Quickbooks discounts/fees have not been set up. Before matching, you need to complete

Is that because I have the version I downloaded from zen-cart download section?

    Jack,

You already posted this and I already responded.

    Thanks,

QBI works with US versions of Quickbooks Pro, Premier, or Enterprise. Simple Start will not work.

    Thanks,

You need to create the lists.iif file and upload it into QBI. See the QBI manual for more details.

    Thanks,
    Adam

Do you have to format your store in Quick Books before you export and upload List Item, Shipping Method List, and Payment Method. I uploaded the iif per instructions and in set up I get prompted to process the iif, but I don't get the the match/payment and fields like in chart 15-1 in the configuration manual. I made sure the default was set for configuration in QBI.
