Dear Zenners,

I've installed Zen Cart 1.3.8a and partially finished modifying my web. I'm using Red Passion templates. I need your help to fix some of the problem as attached. TQ!!

These problems are often difficult to impossible to resolve just by looking at a jpg. The involve the interplay between your XHTML and your CSS, neither of which can be seen from a static picture.

The line is could be due to you having the right hand column still enabled but more likely is due to a background image being applied that simply has that line in it. Can't say how the text can be altered for the reasons stated above.

Give us a link to the site and these questions could be answered easily and definitively.

OK. You site has a number of problems. You seem to be on a very slow server and your front page images are over 1MB in size. As a result , it took several minutes for the home page to load. These images files should be a tiny, tiny fraction of what they are currently. Even as full-size pictures, the file sizes should probably be no more than 20-30k.

You have a number of CSS errors. For example on about line 15 of your stylesheet there is a missing semi-colon at the end. This means that the following line, which reduces your font size site wide, is ignored, probably explaining text that is larger than you want. There are a number of similar errors throughout the stylesheet.

And, as suspected, the line that you don't want is built into a background image. Specifically mainwrapper_tile.jpg

Thanks Kuroi. However, i've just changed my template to Academe 1.2. I've several probs that need your help

1. at my main page, the 'new arrival' header is not at the same height with the left column. how do i fix it?

4. some of my products has price attributes. but, it seems that there are something missing coz it does not show size (RMXXX). instead it shows size attributes_price_delimiter_prefix and attributes_price_delimiter_suffix. i've check the php and it has defined the prefix with '(' and suffix as ')'. what else is missing?

1. There is one mod you need: Image Handler 2

2. Another one: Column Layout Grid

3. You can look at the html code on that site to learn how they do that. It's not like you can edit 1-2 lines and get the exact look and feel on that site, so it's hard to show step by step how to achieve that layout.
