Non-linking text in footer ?

Hello,

I am wanting to place text in the footer where the Ez-pages links appear when they are selected to show in the footer.

Ie. What I would like to have in the footer is:

Thank you for visiting our site. Site produced by MyCompany

where the only linking aspect of the footer is the text "MyCompany", while the rest is just text.

I would normally create the "MyCompany" link in Ez-Pages, however I don't know how to create the rest just as text.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Good news is that's pretty much done for you already...

go to languages > YOUR_TEMPLATE > english.php

(assuming english is the site language)

then look for around line 16.

that is your site info. and pulls from Config > My Store > Store Name.

You should be able to edit that file to say what it is you want it to...

I am actually looking to add text to the footer bar (ie. where the "home" link appears).

Do you know how to do this sort of editing?

Hmm.. can't say I've tried to do that before... But I would probably start with includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/templates/tpl_ezpages_bar_footer.php

and modules/YOUR_TEMPLATE/ez_pages_footer_bar.php

you can probably use the FOOTER_TEXT_BODY define and insert it into the tpl file (outside of the loop)...

that would be my guess...
