Paypal - money comes in but customer doesn't get product

I still see this in my version though:

No Change to the problem/issue.

When I made the purchase, it said:

Your Order number is: <<<< no order was there.

No record of the order in the admin panel, or on the order history. The customer did not receive the order confirmation from the cart but did get the paypal receipt.

After the purchase was made, it did redirect back to the site okay.

I am running paypal IPN in debug mode. Here is the info so far from that:

I am having this same issue right now. I just got my first order from a customer - I have never had one before but have practice ordered up to payment point. I received the payment - it was an instant payment, but all it shows is a total and there are no orders in Zencart at all. Nothing for this customer.

I am still using 3.7 I am sure because really I have not a clue how to update the thing and my ISP wanted $180 just to look at it.

Can anyone help? The email and the IPN url are set correctly, and I'm PHP slow.

that is the second piece and is KEY otherwise the customer dosnt get kicked back to the site and the order never gets placed. checkout process and checkout success are what trigger the actual order process

Yes, this is ON in PayPal and using the same URL as stated in the module.

I'm totally baffled. I got the payment from the customer but there's no record of an order and I'm in a panic as I've no idea what they've purchased.


I also just went in and made sure any shipping profiles on PayPal were inactive. I had one that was active. I'm wondering if this is the reason it was messing up. I hope so and not something else. I have no idea how to go about testing this issue.

CURL test turned out good as well.

Not sure if this will help, but I just tested everything using Money Order/Check and the order shows up in Zen Cart perfectly. :\
