Hi there:
Underneatth the footer there is a zen cart advertisement inside of a brown box
"Zen cart the art of e-commerce". Then it changes to www.zencart.com
How can I get rid of this message? (nothing personal)

Look in your Admin> Tools> Banner Manager
Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

Hi:
I guess I have gotten rid of the banner (when I made the two e-commerce banner inactive from Banner manager).
But now it has changed to another advertisement with a link to zen cart. This message does not change as the one before it say:
""The art of enlightened e-commerce ...
How cn I get rid of this one?

All of those banners are managed in the banner manager.....

Yes. You know what?
I had to turn off ALL of them. If I do not do that the ones that were still active replaced the former one and so on...
Well, one less issue to think about...
