My website is centered... I did this by messing about with the stylesheet. I now think it looks better aligned to the left. I've retraced my steps but cannot seem to get it to left align!
Help!
Thanks in antipation.
I am such a drongo sometimes!

What is the link to your site?

ok ignore this. I've worked it out.
But it looks worse! so its going back to centered!!
Phil : )
I've got another problem now.
The site is www.nativeenergy.co.uk
What I can't seem to fathom is if I change the mainwrapper to 100% then it uses up the whole screen. I get this bit but if I change it to 85% which it is set to at the moment, it uses less of the screen but pushes the site towards the middle.
I can't seem to move everything left.
The reason I put this is that I tried the site on another persons computer and with their resolution, you couldn't see the boxes on the right - without scrolling across.
I've looked through the stylesheet but cannot see how I get the site to left justify. I sort of want it to be left side boxes, text box, right side boxes with the logo positioned over the centre box.
Thanks
Phil
Try float:left; in mainWrapper
I like it centered better, though.
Your image on the main page /images/banner100.jpg is 672px wide which is too large for many resolutions as l&r columns at 150 each need 972px but at 85% of 1024 one only has 870px thus pushing the right side out

Hi Kobra
Thanks for the reply. Any ideas what I should set the banner size too on the main page- so it doesn't push everything right?
Thanks
Phil
ok I think i've sorted it now by messing about with the text area and mainwrapper widths and by resizing those banners to 570px
The only snag I now find is that the site displays different on other computers.
On our machine it works fine. It is displayed in the centre of the screen. However on another computer which is set to 1068 resolution, it is pushed to the right.
Can anyone please take a butchers at my site at www.nativeenergy.co.uk and tell me what it looks like !
thanks
Looks centered here in IE7, Opera, FF2
Centered, but the search and login are to the left rather than above the header image in FF3, Google Chrome and Safari.
Centered and search and login are in the right place, but the Search button is truncated in IE8.
