and your auto return may be set to ON, but it diodnt return me,

Once I hit the return link the order was created just like its supposed to

also now that you have turned the SEO OFF then you need to uninstall and re-install the paypal IPN module,

also its really confusing to run IPN and Express together,

when you get into checkout your wording makes it look like express is the tp paypal button when in fact the IPN is the top button,

and of course the buttons look alike

Sry to bother once again,

My paypal IPN get a small bug still,

when customer payment sent done,they will link to a page

"Your payment for $x.xx USD has been completed.

You are now being redirected to MMO1ST.COM

If you are not redirected within 10 seconds click here."

if you wait 10 sec or click "here" link,the order will make good in admin and buyer's purchase history

BUT if you close this page, the order never will make in admin or buyer's history.

ok maybe I am losing it but thats not the point! Ijust upgraded to 1.3.8a and I have SSL cart. So having the same issues here... How on earth do you turn the SEO off?? I can not find this anywhere...

Ok, whew... don't feel so bad then! I don't have that installed. But now I am still having a problem... I am not getting order numbers for orders put through Paypal. But I am getting the payments....

It started like this, I added in 2 new payment processes last night... 2008 pending and 2008 paid... And set my paypal and credit card processing to default to this accordingliy. I realized this morning when I got a credit card order that when I went to view it I was getting an order_id field not found error... So I tried to remove them and put through a test order and I *thought* it was ok... But then I realized I had 5 or 6 paypal payments with no orders... This was all under 1.3.7 with the newest paypal module I do believe....

Since I could not figure out what was going on I put the site to maintance and decided to just upgrade. Did that and now when I put the order through using my test paypal account It goes through and redirects to zen but with no order number. HELP I have my site down cause it won't work.

PS: I do not have my paypal account set to a specific URL because I have multiple sites using this account... WHAT CAN I DO??

the user MUST either click or hit the return link and MUST come back to your site to complete the order,

you dont need to set a specific URL in IPN or return URL as long as they are on ZC sends an over ride to get the right urls there

Para, you have said now in more than 1 post that this is a BIG, and it is in fact not a bug but the way the system works,

users MUST return to the site to create the order,

hence the use of Auto Return

Merlin, thats the problem... I am clicking the link... although it happens the same exact way weither I click or it redirects by itself... I am trying to do a complete new upload of the files now as we speak... will see how that goes...

one more question... if you say that you must click and not have it "redirect" on it's own back to the cart... How do I get the 10 seconds to be longer or not at all??

yes maybe that's a not bug,but use IPN will get some problem,that's ture.
