Did you move all of the necessary google checkout files to the cherry_zen/ folder? For example, google checkout has these extra files:
includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/templates/tpl_gc_return_display.php
includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/templates/tpl_gc_return_noproduct.php
Google checkout also makes changes to:
tpl_checkout_payment_default.php
tpl_login_default.php
tpl_shopping_cart_default.php
tpl_time_out_default.php
Make sure those files are also moved to the cherry_zen/templates/ folder, and you'll need to merge the changes in tpl_checkout_payment_default.php since I made changes to that file as well.
The "Paul's Version" right after this mod in the download section lists categories across the top. I don't know how to get it to list all products in the dropdown, but my advice if you want it to show products, give EACH product its OWN subcategory, then when your customers click on that subcategory, it will go straight to the product (zen cart is designed to go straight to the product if there is only one product in a given category).
That is actually exactly what I did for the time being. The only problem is if you happen to click on the Parent Categories in the header, it lists the Sub Categories and for two categories it'd make more since to show a Product Listing instead (with description, etc...).
Perhaps I should just set up two Manufacturers for the two categories and change the links in the header to list it that way...
Thanks a lot. I think ive confused everyone here by asking about 2 different menus. Pauls menu seems to work great when you want your different categories to be in the menu, rather than just the 'category' link.
The other menu I was asking about needs to extend like a flyout, and then stay in place when you were on the products page. (http://www.jameschetwood.com/menu/menuiwant.jpg)
Ive managed to achieve this with a very dirty hack of the categories box. Id be happy to write some instructions but like I said, this is a very clumsy solution.
I have a strange problem however it only happens on certain computers and i am trying to figure out why. Everything works great on certain computers however for some reason on random computers that i get on and check the site the menu will have red "X's" to the left. Which is probably the blank box but why are there red x's. Only on certain computers. I was also wondering how can i set the page to where it looks the same on ALL computers. for example on the site i have the background of the site a picture and the center box is smaller so you can see the background. Well this center box has for example set to something like 840px or something. But on computers with different resolution the gap will be either bigger or smaller. How can i make this appear the same on all computers with different resolutions.
The site is

This is my current menu (i cant take a screen grab while hovering so i’ve photoshoped it, but you get the idea);

This is the menu Im trying to make;

How can i get the text for each link in the fly out menu to alight to the right of ‘More Gems’?
I made this with
css_horizontal_dynamic_menu_pauls_edition_1-1 but its very similar to this mod.
Ive also posted this here;

Please let me know if this is a breach of forum etiquette.
Hi Jade,
Love this drop menu, Can you please tell me how to remove the Nav menus (home/login) from the header, as the only ones I want on the top of the page are in your drop menu.
Help,
I have followed along with the read me file and gone back over it but I must have missed a step. I am using 1.3.8.
Here is my link: http://www.auto-xtras.net/shop/
As you can see my drop down is actually a vertical menu can someone tell me where I went wrong?
Thanks in advance,
Renee

Looks to me as if you are missing the style sheet for the menu:
stylesheet_header_menu.css
Should probably be here for your template:
includes/templates/classic/css/stylesheet_header_menu.css
Craig
Thank you I indeed had it under template default. thank you so much!!!
