I tried searching for this because I've seen the thread on changing it before, however the search results for just using www doesn't show any threads on the subject SO...
How do you get the information pages, categories to show the www.mysite.com instead of the http://mysite.com?????

It's in your admin/includes/configure.php and in includes/configure.php
