I had the same problem today after installing froogle feed followed by image handler 2. This patch fixed the problem. Thanks grantc

I too had this problem. Weirdly IH seemed to have uninstalled and my attributes were not behaving normally. I checked the database for the missing lines and indeed the upload and text lines had gone.

Pasted these lines into my database (filling in the id line to a number higher than the last entry in my configuration table) and bingo... everything returned to normal.

I wonder what causes the database to corrupt? I'm not using any of the google related addons that so many seem to suspect.
