Default Admin says to upgrade to 1.3.8..already done

Our ZenCart was successfully upgraded to version 1.3.8 and yet, our Admin site stills says that an upgrade to 1.3.8 is available to download it now!

Why is it still saying this? I followed all the steps...is there anything special to do to update the admin side?

    Thank you,

    Matt

this may be a stupid question but did you run the upgrade program after adding the files?

Is there a separate program to upgrade the admin site?

As for the regular download and upgrade setup, then yes, I got through it without any hitches.

In fact, I restored the entire old (1.3.7) site and re-upgraded and still had the same result on the admin side.

    Thank you.

Yes, I followed all the steps of the /install and the messaging back said it successfully upgraded the database.

After seeing the message at the admin site to "upgrade now!", I tried running it again and it reported that it was already at 1.3.8! So, I rolled it back using a my backup and re-ran it all again.

Everything is working fine. I just thought maybe there was something obvious I was supposed to do for that message. Maybe it will disappear after the next update.

Did you actually upgrade your PHP files too?
What version information do you see when you go to Admin->Tools->Server Information?

It still shows 1.3.7.1. Does this not upgrade when going through zc_install?

    Thank you!

An upgrade involves both the database and all your PHP files.
Upgrade documentation comes with your Zen Cart files ... in the /docs/ folder, and is also available in the FAQ section: Searching on "upgrade" brings up this article along with several others: https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=98

    Thank you.

If you are referring to the upload of the various 1.3.8 files (after comparing using winmerge and carrying over any mods, etc), then Yes, that was done as part of the install. After uploading, the zc_install was run (successfully).

Perhaps the ftp software did something of a sync rather than a full overwrite. I may try that again just in case.
