ZJ Silver Support Thread

OK folks, i need some help here

I set up my cart using the default template, but liked the zj silver color and sideboxes, but i did'nt like the other features(movement and collapsibilty). so i copied the stylesheet. and i love everything now except for the fact that I am missing my footer info, and i tried to install the credit_card_sidebox_1-2-5. and that wont work. my main goal is to put the paypal cc icon some on every page, i would prefer the bottom. I found that the problem stems from a "jcarousel" tag in the stylesheet that has taken over..

so my questions are

1) how do i get my footer info back
2) how do paste the paypal cc icon in at the bottom of the page..

sorry for being longwinded. but any help is appreciated.

Have a question is there away to get the products that are in the new products for september box in a column form and not in row form?

I would appreciate some help. I am trying to modify the check out pages. This template has the option of "Free Shipping" and "In-Store Pickup" as shipping methods in the first step of the checkout. We are selling a service, so there will not be any shipping charges or options. Here is a link to the site:

I was able to find the php file that would allow me to edit the title (ex. "Free Shipping") of the options, but the radial button for the free shipping is still there. Can anyone please point me in the correct direction?

i'd like to say i really like the zj silver template but now i'm in trouble:

the sidebox header links with [more] is clickable in your version 1.0.0 but is unclickable in version 1.0.1

why and when would a newer version be released?

I'm hoping someone can help me with this. I'm using the ZC_BLACK template. Having a little trouble with the new product box. I have four new products but only 3 shows, Now when i click the plus sign the forth shows.

I have it set to show nine. how can i correct this so it shows all nine?

I have installed lightbox on ZJ Silver i can get the images to do the fancy stuff but the java shipping estimator has stopped working.

Guys please help as I don't know which file it is related to

I changed the logo img to 106 high but it's still the same. Thank you.

Go into your CUSTOM CSS and change the line height.

Change this to 100px and it looks a lot better.

Now that I've solved your problem, how did you center your logo in the header?

Can I jump in here and give a little advice? Great, Thanks. And please, this is only constructive criticism.


1. Expand your CSS width to something like 80%. Percentages work better on different size screens and resolutions than absolute figures. Like this:

2. The Shipping Modules are located in the ADMIN -> Modules -> Shipping. Simply uninstall any module that is not useful. I created an account and I see that you've already deleted the options.

3. Please tone down the background color to a lighter shade. The elderly don't want to get blasted like that. It's amazing enough that they are on the interwebs at all.

4. Expand your side box width to something like 175px until your text fits nicely in a single line. I have mine set at 200px and this can be done in ADMIN -> Configuration -> Layout Settings. Remember to change both of the column width fields (4 total). 1 is for global settings and the other set are for Single Column.

5. Go to the Free Add-Ons page and download the Log-In SideBox. Very useful for new and returning customers.

Hope this helps you out. The ZJ line of themes is awesome and with a few modifications you can really make it your own.

One more thing:

You should really use the standard Contact Us page instead of using a mailto: command. Most people don't use clients anymore and for some reason it hung on my system using Thunderbird.
