I have just followed these instructions to change the 'best way' wording but instead of changing the item.php file I changed the flat.php file. Worked a treat!

Ah yes that makes sense now - it's not the "item.php" file I need it's ther "perweightunit.php" file.

Edited 'best way' to read '' and the define title to 'Postage and handling'.

Ah... now just to carry on here - the first invoice went fine, the second still has "()" appearing on the payment steps and on the invoice.
All other bits have stayed the same.
Results suggest that the order with the "()" is slow paypal, and the other paypal express.
But this may just be a coincidence...?

Off hand, I want to think something was delayed, like email etc.

Otherwise, we will have to look further into this to see what else you might have on your server doing this ...
