    Default Re: Super Orders 2.0

    in the page ./admin/includes/languages/english/edit_orders.php I have

    Code:
    define('TEXT_DATE_ORDER_ADDNEW', 'Add product.');
    and then in ./admin/edit_orders.php

    Code:
    //   Add Products Steps
    all I really know is that my version of edit_orders is rather fresh, within the last month. And I have "super orders" installed too since I mainly test and develop nowadays and there's no problems with compatibility.

    Thank for your help. Same thing.

    I do not have an image button for it and I do have CSS on so there is more to this than those 2 threads.
    Cheers!

    I don't have an image button either, I am using Mozilla 3 for my browser. Having looked at the HTML output from the PHP, I get

    Code:
    <a href="/edit_orders.php?oID=69&action=add_product&step=1"><u><b><font size='3'>Add product. </font></b></u></a>
    so no image required, I haven't tried looking through any other browser but I can't see an obvious reason why it won't display.

    I reckon to test it, your best bet is to go to an edit order page like edit_orders.php?oID=69&action=edit on your server with the three columns of editable addresses, and then change the URL so that it mimicks the above by changing the action in the address bar to add_product . If it then works on your system e.g. it takes you to a different page where you start going through your categories to add a product, then you have the right software installed. You could also look throughthe html on the page, to see if "add product" is missing because of a stylesheet issue, like it's written white on a white background. Whatever the result, you appear to be suffering a bug that should be discussed with the authors of "edit orders".

    I installed this awhile ago (sorry for the vagueness - kids crying, etc.) but I know that there are a couple of ways to edit the order - one way brings you to the default edit and one brings you to the 'edit-orders' editor.

    To see if you're using the new editor, your URL should show .../edit_orders.php?... instead of .../orders.php?...

    In fact, once there, you can manually type in the 'edit_' in the URL to get where you want to be. But, better is fixing how you got there. In my case, if I go to 'Customers->Orders' and press the round green 'e' to the right of the order, I go to the default orders.php. If I click on the 'Edit' button to the bottom of the box on the right, I go to edit_orders.php. This is because of the changes I made to admin/orders.php during installation of the addin (documented in its readme.txt file)

    Carl

    Is there a way to have this mod list the weight of the items on the invoice or packing slip?

    Green button? Now we are on to something.

    I'll compare line by line as I go through the install again.

    Interesting as I have another site missing the same feature.

    Thanks!

    I don't think that Edit Orders and Super Orders can live together.

    I went through all steps to install both and all the code is there. Only Super Orders lives.

    Nope, I have both - to add to your orders you will need to go into Customers -> Orders there you will find the green "E" click on it and there you will see under your list of items purchased "Add product." link. Then you can go back into Super orders if you want.

    I believe the main problem on his installation was finding the "add products" link in blue, under the threee editable addresses, for some reason though we went over it, his is not displaying.
