Upgrade Help

Someone needs to walk me through this whole upgrade process slowly and with words that I understand. I am not familiar with PHP and I really need to upgrade my ZenCart.

Help? Please?

Have you read the tutorials and searched in the forum for information yet?
The process will be influenced by what your site is like now, and how many mods you have. A link to see it will help us help you.
The more customization, the more involved it will be.

I've read as many tutorials as I could find, yet none of them make any sense to me. Every time I follow those directions, something goes wrong. I see a whole bunch of errors. Then I Google those errors and find the solution in forums, but the solutions don't work for me. I think I may have to start from scratch.

It would seem you just need to complete two more things to finish your upgrade. The two Red error msgs. at the top of your site pages are normal and tell you exactly what to do.

Delete the 'zc_install' dir.
Change permission of your 'includes/configure.php' to what it was before.

Note: although you do not see a Red msg. for your 'admin/includes/configure.php' you should change permissions on that file as well, back to what they were before.

There is a bit more to it that that. I see "1054 Unknown column 'p.products_id' in 'on clause' " on the product pages. Indicative of a few more issues.

Disagreement between ZC version and possibly the versions of MYSQL and PHP on the server. Sometimes these things don't like to play together well.
