    Default Trough new css is different?

    Hi,

    I work with categories dressing and some php adjustments to run 2 (visual) different stores on 1 zc. All seems to check out but my boss found the following error which I can't seem to solve.

    When clicking on new (as in new products) we get redirected to the page of that product, and it looks like that products page except for the fact I get the first cat showing in the cat menu for the other store. All other cats are normal (in other words, just like they belong to be).

    The site is located at http://www.skull-shop.net and if you click on any of the skull categories and than choose one of the skulls of new products for januari you will see what I mean.

    Thanks a ton in advance for your help!

    There are many issues trying to use ZenCart in a frame - -
    Is there a reason you are doing this?
    I will bet that the downside is greater than any upside you can come up with

    Sorry for my late reply. My store shouldn't be in a frame... at least not that I'm aware of?? I have just made modifications to the look of the skull shop part. It is in essence still one zc installation, with one product catalog.

    Your site is contained within a frame. Here's the source:

    <FRAME SRC="http://www.ad-mineraal.nl/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=105" NAME="satforward">

    I'm forwarding the skull shop domain, so I'm taking a guess that that is causing the problem.... Well I guess I have to ask my boss to move over the skull shop to a own zc installation now.... Is there no way the forwading can be done correctly? I've tried to contact the hosting company about the redirect and said I want a 301 redirect, but they didn't understand or know about it... Is a 301 redirect correct or not?

    Frames are not the result of forwarding.
    They must be coded and you must have this coded and you are aware currently of it or not

    That is not good I think. I haven't coded them there on purpose or with knowing it. Do you have any idea where those files for the code can be?

    In php files or css? And what should I look for? And can I safely remove it without harmin my store?

    About the two shops in one, I've talked to my boss about it and I'm going to split them up into two seperate stores. I have requested a new who is for the skull shop and the hosting company will arrange it. So that will solve the initial problem.

    But I'm still very confused about the frame thing...I'm quite new to all of this, used to do some simple html and stuff. And I really tried to do everything according to the book (I have the owner manual).... But I guess I made some really stupid mistakes there.

    From your view source/frame source
    Code:
    <HTML>
    <head>
    <title>skull-shop.net</title>
    <SCRIPT language="javascript">
    <!-- if (window != top) top.location.href = location.href; -->
    </SCRIPT>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
    </head>
    <FRAMESET ROWS="*,0" BORDER=0 FRAMEBORDER=0 FRAMESPACING=0>
    <FRAME SRC="http://www.ad-mineraal.nl/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=105" NAME="satforward">
    </FRAMESET><NOFRAMES>
    <BODY BGCOLOR="white" TEXT="#2F0060" LINK="#330066" VLINK="#9e1818" ALINK="#FFFF00">
    <META HTTP-EQUIV="REFRESH" CONTENT="0" URL="http://www.ad-mineraal.nl/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=105">
    <BR><BR><BR><center>Click <a href="http://www.ad-mineraal.nl/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=105">here</A> for skull-shop.net</center>
    </BODY></NOFRAMES>
    </HTML>

    Thank you very much for your reply!

    This line
    Code:
    <FRAME SRC="http://www.ad-mineraal.nl/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=105" NAME="satforward">
    with the satforward in it... it still doesn't mean it was caused by the forward? I forwarded it by the satserverpanel on my server....

    Anyway... thanks for helping me out with finding the code. I'm going to try to fix it!
