Can I do this?

I run an online business and have recently installed zen cart because it offers a lot more and I like the look and feel more than the other carts I've tried. However, I am a one girl show and this is wearing on me tremendously. It doesn't seem too hard to update zen cart and keep it up to date, but would I do best to hire someone who does this for a living? I can't afford too many hours out of the week to update, I need that time to create my products. However, if it's only an hour or so a week, that's not a problem. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice? Are you a zen cart designer who might want a job? Thanks =)

if you mean updating core file of zen cart , then if you have latest version installed , then no you don't have to update any files , unless new update has been released. so far , version 1.38 is latest version ..
