Default 500 - Internal Server Error on Order Confirmation

I have just recently set up ZenCart 1.3.8. I initially installed in a "store" directory and then when all was set moved it to the root html directory. I modified all of the appropriate configuration.php files to reflect the move and all seemed well. However, now I am getting a 500- internal server error when customers click on the confirm order button in the final step. It is random, doesn't happen all the time. It happens more in FireFox than IE. I am using GoDaddy for hosting but I'm not sure if that is a factor or not. It looks like a php issue, but I don't know. Anyone have any clue or thought on what I might have done or not done to cause this?

    Thanks,
    Mary

Your server's apache errorlog should tell you the cause of the 500 error.
I don't recall how to find that in GoDaddy's hosting website.

I had the same problem and i fixed it by giving permission to admin folder, in my case "755".

    OWNER: read, write, execute
    GROUP: read, execute
    PUBLIC: read, execute

    hope it helps
